Updated Student Meal Prices for 2025-2026

This past school year, Lone Oak ISD was proud to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allowed us to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students, regardless of income. We hope this program has been a meaningful support to your family and a blessing to our students.

As we look ahead to the 2025–2026 school year, recent program changes mean that we will no longer be participating in CEP. This means student meals will no longer be provided at no cost to all students.

Beginning this fall, meal prices will be:
Breakfast – $2.50
Lunch – $3.80

To determine if your child qualifies for free or reduced-price meals, all families are encouraged to complete a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application, regardless of previous eligibility or participation. Submitting this form helps ensure that your student receives the lowest-priced meals available and supports critical programs throughout the district.

Frequently Asked Questions:

My child won't be buying lunch at all this year. Should I still fill out the form?

Yes! All eligible forms will help LOISD students, even if your child never purchases a meal from the cafeteria.

I'm not sure if we will qualify this year. Should I skip completing the form?

No! Qualifying income levels typically change from year to year and you may qualify even if you think you might not. If in doubt, fill it out!
