As we get ready to welcome students back to campus, we'd like to share a few important updates about school meals for the upcoming school year.

Meal Prices

Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, meal prices will be:

Breakfast: $2.50
Lunch: $3.90 (previously $3.80)

While this may be a modest increase, we understand that even small changes can make a difference for some of our families. We encourage every family to complete a Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application, even if your family has never qualified in the past or you're unsure whether you meet the income guidelines.

This year, thanks to a grant awarded to Lone Oak ISD, students who qualify through the application process will receive both breakfast and lunch at no cost. 

Completing the application only takes a few minutes and could make a meaningful difference for your family this school year. Every approved application also helps secure important funding that supports our students, staff, and school programs. 

School Café

Lone Oak ISD utilizes SchoolCafé to manage all student cafeteria accounts. Parents can check breakfast and lunch menus, set up automatic payments, check balances, and apply for free or reduced meals all through one login.
