Lone Oak ISD is excited to welcome students, families, and community members back for another great school year—starting with two of our favorite annual events!

We invite you to join us on Friday, August 1, as we kick off the back-to-school season with Meet the Teacher and Meet the Buffaloes.

Meet the Teacher | 5:30–7:15 PM (All Campuses)

This is a great opportunity for students to:

• Visit classrooms and meet their teachers and staff

• Get familiar with their campus layout

• Drop off school supplies (for elementary and middle school students)

Here’s what to expect by campus:

• Elementary students will learn their assigned teacher when they arrive on campus.

• Middle and high school students will receive their class schedules during the event.

• High school students will also receive their Chromebooks, so be sure to bring a backpack for safe transport.

New to LOES?
Families of students new to the elementary campus are invited to attend New Student Orientation from 7:00–7:15 PM in the LOES cafeteria. It’s a great way to learn more about the school and get comfortable before the first day.

New to LOMS?
Families of students new to the middle school campus are invited to attend New Student Orientation from 5:00 - 5:30 PM at LOMS.

Meet the Buffaloes | 7:30 PM at Buffalo Stadium

After Meet the Teacher, head over to Buffalo Stadium to help us cheer on our fall sports teams and student-athletes during Meet the Buffaloes. This high-energy event is a tradition our community looks forward to each year—and a fun way to show your Buffalo pride as we head into a new season.

High School Parking Reminder

Families attending the high school Meet the Teacher event should park at the new student entrance.
Student schedules will be handed out in the new high school gym.
