Lone Oak High School Beta Club Excels at State Convention
Lone Oak High School's Beta Club showcased their talents and dedication at the recent State Convention held from February 29 to March 1. Among the highlights, Lone Oak achieved remarkable placements in various categories:
- Service-Learning Showcase: Delanie Reeves, Journey McIlveene, Kendall Saulters and Brooklyn Whitehead secured an impressive 2nd place, demonstrating their commitment to community service and leadership.
- Two-Dimensional Art - Banner: Claire Evans, Keegan Scuggs, Rachel Evans, and Kinsey Bayer claimed 4th place, showcasing artistic prowess and creativity.
- Individual Achievements:
- Aiden Holder - 5th place in Spelling (Division 2)
- Lilly Walker - 5th place in Mixed Media (Division 2)
- Kenzie Miller - 3rd place in Onsight Cake Decorating (Division 1)
