The Lone Oak ISD library’s mission is to create a supportive educational setting where students and staff are equipped with the skills necessary to effectively locate, evaluate, analyze, and communicate information as they continually learn about and navigate multiple literacies.  Our library collection will be maintained sufficiently to provide relevant, authoritative, accurate, and current content in a variety of formats to serve all patrons in a manner that encourages a love and appreciation of reading and an ongoing desire to learn.
