Counseling Services
The Counseling Services Department is dedicated to supporting the academic, social, emotional, and personal growth of every Lone Oak ISD student. Our counselors work alongside students, families, teachers, and administrators to help create a positive learning environment where every child feels supported, valued, and prepared for success.
School counselors are available to help students navigate a variety of challenges and milestones throughout their educational journey. Whether a student needs support building friendships, developing coping skills, managing emotions, resolving conflicts, or adjusting to life's changes, our counselors are here to help. They also provide classroom guidance lessons, small group support, crisis response, and referrals to additional resources when appropriate.
As students grow, our counseling services expand to include academic planning and college and career readiness. At the high school level, our academic advisor works closely with students to assist with course planning, graduation requirements, post-secondary planning, scholarships, career exploration, and preparing for life after high school.
At Lone Oak ISD, we believe every student deserves to feel connected, supported, and equipped to succeed. Our Counseling Services team is committed to partnering with families to help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
