Lone Oak ISD Communications Guidelines

Methods of Communication:

The LOISD Communications Department regularly updates its website and the district social media pages to reflect current events and district updates. In the event of severe weather or a situation requiring immediate notification of parents, the Communications Department will work with and support campuses to quickly disseminate information. Depending on the nature of the event, we will utilize one or more of these tools:

*Parents are encouraged to notify their child’s school if phone numbers or email addresses are changed during the year.  To ensure your contact information is up to date, you can log into your ParentPortal. Please be aware that a number must be placed in the field for a cell phone number in order to receive campus and district text messages.

Share Your Good News

We love to share good news, accomplishments and exciting events happening at each of our campuses. If you have photos of recent events, stories or celebrations to share, please send them to communications@loisd.net.
