Board Member Continuing Education Hours

School board members must complete training that is required by the State Board of Education (SBOE), and the board president must publicly announce whether each board member has met their training requirements at the last regular meeting of the board before an election of trustees. If the board meeting minutes reflect that a trustee is deficient in training, the district must post the minutes on the district’s website within 10 business days of the meeting.
