2021 Bond
On behalf of our students, staff, administration, and Board of Trustees, I would like to thank the community for supporting Lone Oak ISD’s bond program. Both Propositions A and B have been passed by voters. A total of 1,357 votes were cast in the election, with 394 for and 287 against Proposition A. Additionally, Proposition B received 362 votes for and 314 against.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the Facility Advisory Committee for developing the bond program, as well as everyone who put out yard signs, posted on social media, and helped spread the word. This bond program was developed in a collaborative and transparent manner. I assure you that the management of bond projects will be just as transparent. The community will be able to follow bond progress on the district’s website.
Thank you, again, for your support and entrusting us with this responsibility, which we do not take lightly. The election results represent the end of the campaign, but only the beginning of a lot of work ahead. I am excited for the new opportunities that this bond will bring for our students, our community, and the future of LOISD. Together, we are dedicated to excellence in education.
